My wife, Emily, posted this yesterday. We love this song and as I sat in my office this morning listening to it again tears started welling up inside me. Sometimes we know in words what Christ did for us but we just cant wrap our minds around the magnitude of what that means. When I look in the mirror the devil wants me to see my dirty, rotten, messed up life before Christ. God wants me to see His Son. I cant understand it fully right now but one day I will. When I see Jesus and the marks He bore for me, I will spend the rest of eternity thanking Him for doing what no one else (including myself) could do - set me free! Romans 8:1, 2 - There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
