My wife Yolanda Boddie and I never had a wedding ceremony or a - TopicsExpress

My wife Yolanda Boddie and I never had a wedding ceremony or a honeymoon. On Friday October 13th ( not superstitious, lol) 1995, we went downtown to the court house to get married. Living together with 3 children, we wanted to make it right in Gods eyes by sealing our relationship in marriage, and we didnt want to wait to plan a wedding. My wife and I literally laughed through the entire ceremony because I couldnt believe I was really about to marry Yolanda Rouse, and she couldnt believe she was really about to marry Winston Boddie, lol! Every year after our wedding we would say ok, were gonna plan our wedding this year, but time kept passing and it never happened. In October, it will have been 19 years, good times, bad times, failures and victories, ups and downs, and 8 children later, and through it all, our God has CONTINUOUSLY had His Hand on our relationship and our family. Though it hasnt always been easy, God has given us the victory through EVERY stage of our relationship. Ive been crazy about my wife for the last 27 years of my life. Even through the couple of years after we broke up while we were in high school, shes ALWAYS had my heart! I remember the first time I saw her was in 1987 at Harry E. Davis in Mrs. Princes 8th grade English class room #109. She was a new student transferring from Empire Jr. High. She walked in with a red sweatshirt that said T.A.P.S. on the back, these tight jeans, a pair of white Lottos on, with the footies with the little puffy balls on the ankles...she was short, light skinned, had a gherri curl, and body was KILLIN!!! It may sound corny, but I was hooked INSTANTLY! Today I can honestly say that the feeling I felt back then, I still feel it 27 years later. With that being said, on October 13th 2014, we will celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary, which is only about 3 months away...BUT...I think its LONG overdue for my wife Mrs. Yolanda Boddie to have the dream wedding shes always wanted! So, in October of 2015 for our 20th anniversary, we will finally have our wedding that never happened. My excitement level for this day is through the roof and I/we cant wait!!! Well keep everyone posted on the details. I even know of this REALLY nice church near the corner of Lee and Mayfield in Cleveland Heights that we could have our wedding and reception in, lol! I love you bae!!! #itsfinallyofficial #teamboddie2015
