My wife has been reading amazon/Black-Count-revolution-betrayal-Cristo-ebook/dp/B007OLYPA4/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1396572443&sr=1-1&keywords=The+Black+Count The scary thing about this story is that in 1790 if you were Black you could serve in the parliament and had full civil rights. You could be a hero of France and a general. Not too long after that you could not be addressed with the civil address of Mr. or Sir. So, you could be Major General Dumas, hero of the revolution, but your soldiers could not call you sir when they reported. It is fascinating how they went from full racial equality to extreme prejudice in about ten years. I see forces trying to do that in our society, from both sides. Trying to demonize the other side. Heaven help the helpless and the powerless when that happens.
