My wife teases me because suddenly Ive been watching football this year. When I climb aboard a ship at work, many crew ask about the game so I kinda feel I should keep up with the big games and playoffs. Therefore, I didnt really care who won yesterday, cause I love both towns and think they each have great teams (ok, maybe I was a little partial to 49s). I actually thought 9ers were gonna kick the Hawks butt. In the end, it was a GREAT GAME to watch right down to the last few minutes. THAT is what all games should be. In any case, this post about 49s QB post game interview is a class act. How refreshing to see a pro athlete accept defeat with personal responsibility for not doing better or his best. Too bad more people in business and politics cannot emulate what Kaepernick demonstrated yesterday. Grace in defeat, honesty in his self criticism. Helluva role model for young people.
