My wife was just tell me about this a couple of days ago. Parents have such AWESOME responsibility! That is why I was just on my face, praying to God for my family. My wife woke up to use the bathroom. Without a single word, I let her get on her knees to pray with me. Im still amazed at the woman God has blessed me with. I love her as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her. My wife is so much like the woman in Proverbs 31. Just yesterday she got a pair of shoes for our daughter for just 25 cents. Yesterday we went and got a year membership to the YMCA for almost $1,200. My wife gently told me that we should go home and talk about it, but I just asked the kids & pulled out the credit card. I could see that my wife was not excited about what I did & we had a heated discussion while driving home. I had to share with the kids, ....you know that when mom and dad have these disagreements, you NEVER have to worry about us getting a divorce. I will always love your mom and she will always love me. My brother is a HUGE part of our familys life. He is not just a brother, he is a dear friend! We wanted him to be part of the membership so we went back to set it up. Because he does not live in our house, they would not allow him to be on our membership. I cancelled the complete membership. I just think of the verse, And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those that LOVE the LORD; for those that have been called according to His purpose Romans 8:28 I believe each member of our family loves God, I believe that my brother loves the LORD. He has a different personality that me, but he is a MUCH NICER person than me. I could not deal with so many things that he has dealt with in life. He is taking GREAT care of my mom & for that Im VERY THANKFUL! I hope that he will be able to go with our family on vacation in December! He was just teaching our 6 year old son to play chess last night.
