My wife, who is also the family historian, has been tirelessly scouring documents and core census data to get some stuff straight in the old family tree...what she has found is amazing, some shocking, and will change a lot of our word of mouth knowledge passed down over the years. She is so awesome for doing this task. Youve got to want it and want to do it to be good at it...and she has all of those traits in pocket. Our goal is to give the info to all the brothers and wives so we can have a fantastic document of which to know where we came from...and how we got to where we are today. ...not everyone is cut out to do this kind of research...and not everyone is cut out to hear it...but I do enjoy seeing what she has found and how excited she is that she has found it!
