My young friend Dhruba Jyoti Borah (https://facebook/dhruba.borah.16), who is current in Sweden, has sent me this mail about an exciting 10-day programme for young leaders (20-32) in Sweden. I encourage those who fit the criteria given below to apply. ******************************************** Young Connectors of the Future Programme (YCF) is a leadership programme that aims to lay a foundation for dialogue, mutual understanding and knowledge sharing among young leaders in South Asia. The programme invites leaders between 20-32 years old from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan who represent different sectors of society. The participants are actively working for democracy and human rights within the spheres of society, culture, politics, entrepreneurship and media. Programme content The YCF programme comprises of ten days of intensive work in Sweden and consists of intercultural leadership training including lectures, seminars and workshops. Practical group assignments run throughout the whole programme in combination with tailor-made study visits to relevant Swedish authorities, organisations and institutions. During and after the programme the participants will be part of an active network that will boost creativity and support their personal and professional development, while also laying the platform for a more connected future. Please note that the Young Connector of the Future is an intensive programme and all selected participants will have to commit to participate during the full ten days.
