#Myfriendoftheday Born on the 17th of June many years ago to Late Mr Goodfellow and Mrs Elizabeth Opusunju in the ancient town of Opobo in Rivers State, Nigeria. This young and talented guy was influenced by the late Madiba and musically by the rare vocal prowess of his sisters who are also very good singers. He worked on his vocal technique and mastered the art over the years, turning him into a versatile singer as he does very well in music genres such as RnB, Lovers Rock, Reggae and Soul. In 2008, this young blood auditioned for the MTN Project Fame and was admitted into the TV Reality Show alongside Praise, Iyanya among others and was among the last 5 standing before his eviction. In 2012 he signed a modeling contract as one of the faces on the MTN 400 Naira recharge voucher. He has performed at several National and International events including; the Oxbridge and Cambridge ball for the alumni of the Cambridge University, and at a Media briefing during president Clinton’s visit to Nigeria in 2000. He performed for the President of the Republic of Rwanda, President Paul Kagame, at the Oxbridge and Cambridge spring lecture in 2012. He also performed with a Live Band “The Uprising” at the Lagos International Jazz Festival which held at Freedom Park in Lagos Island. His vocal dexterity keeps translating into increased fanbase and respect in the society. He also performed again with “The Uprising” at the Silverbird Man of The Year Awards, where President Paul Kagame of Rwanda was honoured, alongside Former Governor of Anambra state Peter Obi, and Governor of lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola among others. He speaks and sings in English, igbo and his native Igbani dialect, and has recorded singles to his credit. He hopes to tour the world with his music which he sees as food for the soul. He is a graduate of Linguistics and Communication Studies from the University of Port-Harcourt.
