Mysteries of the Lord revealed Today’s mysteries revealed comes from the book of John chapters number 2 and 3 with regards to Baptism. WATER TURNED TO WINE 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee: and the mother of Jesus was there: 2) And both Jesus was called and his disciples to the marriage. 3) And when they wanted wine the mother of Jesus said unto him, They have no wine. 4) Jesus said unto her, Women, what am I to do with thee, mine hour has not yet come. There are very important passages here in which I must say I have missed for many years until the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to see and my ears to hear. THE THIRD DAY Luke 24:6…Remember how He spoke unto you when He was yet in Galilee, 7) Saying the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and the third day be rise again, 8) And they remembered His Words. Mathew 16:21-From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that He must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Luke 9:22-Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. 2:6 And there set there six water pots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 7) Jesus said unto them; fill the water pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8) And He said unto them, draw out now and bear unto the master of the feast. And they bare it. 9) when the ruler of the feast tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not hence it was: ( but the servants who drew the water knew) the master of the feast called the bridegroom, 10) And said unto him, every man at the beginning set for good wine and when men are well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou has kept the good wine until now. 2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His Glory: and His disciples believed in Him. Jesus Christ came to fulfill the law and be the unblemished lamb, the incorruptible seed of God who would take away the sins of the world. The one born of water and of the Spirit. Jesus fulfilled all the requirements of the Jewish law, ceremonial cleanings, and was the acceptable sacrifice for all mans sins to God. Completing this Jesus abolished the baptism of water that John had preached and by His Blood the sins of the World were made clean. This chapter not just show Jesus’s first miracle as many people have been taught, but it shows the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how Jesus paid the price for all mans sin. For this is the mystery given to us by the Almighty Counselor who reveals to us the mysteries of the Word of God.John 34-37 34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. 35 And he that saw it bare record , and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe . 36 For these things were done , that the scripture should be fulfilled , A bone of him shall not be broken . 37 And again another scripture saith , They shall look on him whom they pierced . For this is the reason peter wrote: Acts 2:38 38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. JOHN 3:5-36 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.24 For John was not yet cast into prison.25 Then there arose a question between some of Johns disciples and the Jews about purifying.26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptized, and all men come to him.27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegrooms voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.30 He must increase, but I must decrease.31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth in him. JESUS is the way the Truth and the Light, No one comes to the father except through the Son. No one can receive the Holy Spirit unless given it to Him by the one who left him for us who abide in Him, …JESUS. FOR THE OLD TESTAMENT WATER BAPTISM FOR THE CLEANSING OF SINS WAS FULFILLED AND REPLACED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS, ONCE, FOR ALL. JESUS REVEALED US THIS IN HIS MIRACLE STORY OF WATER TO WINE.
