Mysterium Tremendum: Overwhelming Mystery: As a wee little - TopicsExpress

Mysterium Tremendum: Overwhelming Mystery: As a wee little child, I feel blessed to have been exposed to the overwhelming mystery of the Latin Mass at Christmas. The sensual exposure to sacred incense, smoke, classical music, stained glass windows, and the mystery of the Mass evoked a sense of something much larger than ordinary daily life. I see now, more than ever, that it evoked an ancient memory of cosmic proportions. Life seemed ordinary, but from my spiritual core, I knew it was anything but ordinary. I think I have been in search of that cosmic awareness all my life. Recently, when I posted the first version of this Ave Maria video, I was amazed at the number of people in Italy who really got this. Many of them are still in touch with the ancient Renaissance sense of the mystic and of the mysterium tremendum of creation itself... I have been daunted by the hypnotic trance of ARGUING that so many in my own country seem to be stuck in right now. I do NOT want to argue in this sacred time over semantics, and petty little things about religions. I want to follow that star to the heights. I want to resonate with the unconditional love of God which knows no bounds, and which is born in each of us, anew, every time we stop to ponder the greatness of the universe. I HOPE this latest version which I put together yesterday will help evoke that overwhelming beauty and the mystery of being alive in a cosmic universe of overwhelming and unlimited possibility. FOLLOW THAT STAR wherever it may lead!!! Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Blessed Winter Solstice, and blessings to everyone all over the world today and every day.
