NADI has been handed a tough draw in the 2014 Oceania Champions League playoffs which will be held in the country in April. The Kamal Swamy coached Nadi team is in Group B with defending champions Auckland City, Vanuatu champions Amicale FC and Tahiti champions AS Dragons. Ba is in Group C with Papua New Guinea champions Hekari United, Tafea FC of Vanuatu and AS Magenta of New Caledonia. Group A has Kiwi FC of Samoa, AS Pirae of Tahiti, Waitakere United of New Zealand and the winner of the Solomon Islands S-League which will be decided next month. The Group A matches will be played at Churchill Park in Lautoka. Group B matches will be played at Prince Charles Park in Nadi while Group C matches will be played at Govind Park in Ba. The play-offs will be held from April 7 to April 15. Ba will face AS Magenta in the opening round while Nadi will clash with Auckland City. The group winners and the best placed runner-up will qualify for the semi-finals which will be played on a home and away basis. The winner of the competition will gain direct entry to the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco in December. Fixtures: April 7: Tafea-Hekari United, Ba-AS Magenta; April 8: Amicale FC-AS Dragon, Auckland City-Nadi; April 9: Kiwi-Waitakere United, S-League winner-AS Pirae; April 10: Ba-Tafea, Hekari United-AS Magenta; April 11: AS Dragon-Auckland City, Nadi-Amicale; April 12: AS Pirae-Kiwi, S-League winner-Waitakere United; April 13 Tafea-AS Magenta, Ba-Hekari United; April 14: Nadi-AS Dragon, Amicale FC-Auckland City; April 15: S-League winner-Kiwi, AS Pirae-Waitakere United.
