NALOLO INDUNAS CHEERS REA... as Induna Mooto says this is a sigh relief to his subjects. The connecting of Nalolo district under the Nanjucha grid extension project to the national electricity grid in Western Province has cheered the traditional rulers. Induna Mooto said REAs efforts of uplifting rural lives through the provision of electricity infrastructure will promote small business entities, improve the literacy level, and health standards. Speaking during the commissioning of the project last Friday Mines, Energy and Water Development Deputy Minister Charles Zulu disclosed that government will ensure that all rural areas through REA are connected to electricity by year 2030. Mr. Zulu added that Zambias huge population is in rural areas hence government embarking on the ambitious rural electrification programme with the view of improving lives.
