:::::::::::::::::::::NAMES OF GOD ALMIGHTY IN EWE::::::::::::::::::::: I couldnt go to church today, but wanted to do my evangelism on this platform! Today, a friend of mine was asking me who at all Osogbolisa is! I dont blame him, and others who also have been asking through my inbox. I deem it fit to post about it! Ewes calls God almighty Mawugã which means the biggest God! Our ppl say "Vi bia nya ta se la, me dzor lã o!" So l will lecture u. God almighty has so many names! We have Mawugã Osogbolisa, Mawu Kitikata, Mawu Adanunl)asi, Mawu si le dzi gbe gege, Mawu Fiawodzifia Oklemegugu, Edolek)mek)gba!,among others! just like we find Jireh, Elohim, El shadai, Shalom, Adonai, among others! We call his holy name according to what we want, most of the church goers doesnt consider it a point! Pastos who wanted something uses the name like Jireh as the God of provision, El shadai as God that is with us! That is a free revelation from God! Those who knew His name stands a fair chance of being answered! For example, am not comparing myself to Osogbolisa but, when am on the streets of America and all of the sudden somebody says "Ghanaian" it might take no much impact on my heart compared to Simon on the same street! Consider somebody calling me Voltarian, Amewotsey, somebody also called Kofi, somebody also called Amatsi! On that street, if l wanted to help without being partial, l might rescue the one who knew me by my maiden name! It portrays how much close the person is to me! This is what the miracle performing pastors knew and are paid! Hope l have satisfied curious minds! If u knew other names for God, drop it !
