NASI LEMAK CAMPAIGN......HOW DOES YOUR PLEDGE WORK? Just a quick clarification good folks, that this event is not a function to attend. It is a campaign of support through donation for our Street Feeding Programmes. It is to help us sustain and grow our Street Feeding operations to serve those in need. The food is the beginning of the Chain of Care as it not only feeds someone who is hungry, but builds the trust relationship that allows us to find out what happened, who they really are, what they need, and from this we can work to get these folks off the streets and reintegrated back into society. We have only conducted these campaigns twice in 8 years of operation, and it hopefully allows those who cant actually work on the streets with us, an opportunity to contribute to the work we do and to making society a little bit better. Once your donation is received and the copy of the deposit slip is emailed to Feexa, we work with our Run Leaders to provide them the funds as required to assist in providing food to top up the daily requirement from those food packs we already have. Our Run Leaders already have approved caterers where food can be purchased. Run Leaders provide us with receipts for each purchase for our accounting purposes. In addition, your donations allow us to extend our operations to feed and reach out to more of those in need. Please pledge and help us continue to support those we serve now and to extend this to the ever increasing numbers of homeless and poor that we are finding on the streets every night. Pete Nicoll.
