I am still adjusting to life here in California. Focus, now, is on work. I am really wanting to use what I have learnt through lifes experiences to help others on their Path, along with other qualifications i have acquired. Over the years, it has become obvious that the Universe Helps, it always helps, but in ways we dont expect. I will keep being open to the many diverse ways that the universe will present in the form of Help. I would also like to see my bracelet line, New Beginnings, thrive. I will look at getting more involved in wellness fairs, if there are any, in this area. Many of us have read about California being a kind of pioneer with things like energy medicine. Many great speakers on this subject are, in fact, out here. The truth is, California is not as expanded on the topic of spiritual stuff as many would believe it to be. I had a talk yesterday with someone who works for the VA on san Francisco. He is a military vet, though never served in combat. He said that hes trying to get spirituality more active in the VA, especially Native American spiritual beliefs, which we know, is highly centered around major concepts of energy medicine. This avenue of expansion is being met with resistance. Its not surprising. But it made me re evaluate my thoughts about California. How is it, for instance, that places like the Deepak Chopra Center, Hay House, the Kiloby Center , to name a few be so alive in California, but its a challenge to incorporate Native American spirituality as a healing Path for our vets? Just something to think about. I know, the VA hospitals are federally run... Still, one would think that California is more spiritually open..its not that open. - ELIF
