NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS NANS/JCC ONDO STATE # LETTER OF MISINFORMATION FROM DISCLAIMER !!!!! In order to put the record straight, i write to inform the general public, fellow students, gallant comrades and stakeholders of our great organization due to the recent unfounded disclaimer posted on the social media by an aspirant to the post of vice-chairman as regard the just concluded convention that usher in a new set of officials to the noble NANS/JCC ondo state chapter. It is highly regrettable in a keenly contested election that an aspirant found to be eligible, duly fulfilled every requirements to contest in the election could come up with a misleading information without given proper consideration to the magnanimous approach the chairman handled the election,that truely gave the aspirant the privilege to be voted for,which he won convincingly. It is worth of note that the aspirant, comrade Antolusi Anthony was nominated in absentia due to his inability to be physically present at the convention venue as a result of his ongoing examination thereby allowing the accredited senators to vote for him since it was unanimously supported by them and same gesture was willingly backed by the convention chairman. However,due to the soft nature of mr chairman whose aim and desire is to give every aspirant a fair play without any form of favouritism deem it fit to permit the voting process in absentia of the aspirant vying for the post of vice-chairman which turns out to be in his favour.Four out of the five senator accredited unanimously voted for him,thereby making him to be the legal winner of the election,pulling four votes to one against his opponent. It is therefore a huge slap on the person of the chairman and a sad story to receive with shock,a purported debunked malicious message from the duly elected aspirant as regard his emergence even in the face of his unavailability. If been magnanimous in ones approach to resolve contending issues without any form of favouritism, then permitting to allow the indefatigable senators to commence voting in absentia of the aspirant is an unfortunate mistake taken to forestall undue labelling as favouring one side to other. However for the sake of acceptance and integrity of the electioneering proceedings in the course of the convention,i sincerely tender my utmost apology if at all,my proactive and magnanimity is misinterpreted in some quarter. No man is believed to be perfect but we all are working towards perfection.I equally reserve the right by the power bestowed on the office of the convention chairman to revoke his victory and declared the runners up as returned elected if he refuses to desist from further defamation of the electioneering proceedings that sustained his emergence. On this note,i want to encourage every elected aspirant to take up in good faith the mandate bestowed on them by the Nigeria students of our great organization. Without any iota of fear or regret,i want to congratulate everyone once again,whose time,energy, prayer and deserving support made us to achieve a laudable success in the just concluded convention.I salute all the gallant comrades, media observer,SSS,NPF and student leaders of various organization present.It is my prayer that God Almighty in His infinite Mercy,take us to our desired heights in the journey of life according to His plans for us.
