NATURE OF INCIDENT: ROBBERY IRC NUMBER: 140142140 OFFICER: Ptl. B. Gist DATE: 7/12/2014 TIME: 955 LOCATION: N HANCOCK ST AND COAL ST PERSONS INVOLVED: Victim - Male Glen Lyon INCIDENT DETAILS: Officers were detailed to N. Hancock St. and Coal St. for a report of a male who was assaulted. The victim was contacted upon arrival and related the following. He stayed over his friends house on Gildersleeve St. and took a walk up to Coal St. He was contacted by two black males who exited a green GMC pickup truck, driven by a female. The males were unknown to the victim and they accused him of owing them money. The victim then ran from the suspects and they chased him for multiple blocks, catching him in front of 50 N. Hancock St. The victim was then knocked to the ground, kicked, and one of the suspects, who was wearing a green shirt, removed eight dollars from his pocket, along with his shoes. The victim did not need any medical assistance and did not wish for any further investigation. No suspects were located in the area. Investigation is continuing. LTSO488
