NC worker appointed as Booth Level Officer; Congress party files complaint Srinagar - Congress party Saturday alleged that a government employee who is the National Conference worker was appointed as Booth Level Officer for Eidgah Constituency during recently concluded Assembly polls. The party has filed a complaint with the Election Commissioner along with an NC advertisement in which the party claims that one Farooq Ahmed Saznawaz (CAPD employee) is an ardent National Conference worker. The defeated candidate of Congress party from Eidgah constituency, Imtiyaz Ahmed Khan in his complaint to Election Commissioner has alleged that the said government employee and NC worker whom the authorities appointed as Booth Level Officer for Eidgah acted completely against the prescribed rules and norms of Model Code of Conduct and instead of performing his duties lured voters and motivated them to vote for NC candidate. The Congress party has demanded stern action against the said employee under rules and has also appealed Commissioner Secretary to CAPD to initiate action against him. (CNS)
