NCD! I am a compression lover. I own/have owned many comps. But this week I just bought the best comp Ive ever played: The Effectrode PC-2A Tube Compressor. Phenomenal. AND there is NO frequency imposition on your tone. Just wonderful, non-pumping, high-end studio quality compression. Next thing I noticed was how beautifully rich it makes my guitar sound (whether clean or OD). It gets along wonderfully with ODs and is the absolute best big clean tone Ive ever gotten. Ive used it with both my 61 AC30 and 67 Marshall 50w/412 with perfect results in both. THIS is a quest-ending compressor.
