NCVO: What happens in Europe influences voluntary organisations in lots of different ways. You dont have to be working in Europe to be affected by its rules. The upcoming EU elections on 22 May are a great opportunity to influence the rules and regulations that affect our everyday lives. Theyre also an opportunity to influence the priorities for EU spending. After working with our partners in the European Funding Network, weve put together some practical recommendations that you can use when you talk to prospective candidates so that the voluntary sector is at the forefront of their minds. Well be using these recommendations when we are making the case for how our members can make a difference in their communities.
