NERD ALERT: This review can only be appreciate by a Geek level 4 or higher #CaptainAmerica #WinterSoldier is a well made movie. The trailers are purposefully vague to hide the awesome plot twists that would make Shamalan say I wish Id thought of that action packed but story driven the 2 hrs flew by. If you gotta know before you go to be sure it worth your time here is a summary semi-spoilerish info to follow: Cap faces a huge threat from within the ranks of his own agency, and has to Bower-up in a romp that rivals 24.. Im glad Cap resists the urg to torture.. he lets Black Widow do it and even then its only simulated torture! Falcon was a cool hero and a likeable character in general, garnering laughs from the very opening scenes, Scarlet Johanson was Bad ass as usual, but found some depth. #ChrisEvans is delicious and plausible as the 90 year old fish out of water innocent, who believes in doing the right thing. He is tough, and can sure swin a shield, who knew the uses of a proto-adamantium disk could be so vast. The real show stealer is #SamuelLJackson as #NickFuery who proves hard to take and impossible to keep, he gets a dose of humble pie when he realises his militaristic approach to security has been exploited by dark forces and he has to fight them himself. Robert Redford nails it and brings a credibility and counter balance to the Nick Fuery character. A great message of hope as S.H.I.E.L.D is revealed to be compromised and agents who realize they are working for ill turn on their establishment and fight back Its all set up for a Cap3 and you only have to wait through half the credits.
