NERO, FORCED TO LIVE MOST OF HIS LIFE ON A SMALL CONCRETE PAD, FINALLY SURRENDERED BY OWNER AFTER 23 COMPLAINTS FILED Dear friends, Here is another story of a dog who lived a life in isolation and who obviously was not happy. Since 2003, 23 complaints have been filed with regard to Neros excessive barking. Still, Calgary Animal Control said the legislation did not permit them to seize poor Nero (see link to that story in the comments below). Thankfully Neros owner decided to surrender him and he is now being assessed for adoption. Wishing Nero nothing but the best and a new loving home after 11 years of sheer hell!!!!
