NEW COACH! We are especially happy to announce that Taylor Jo Quint has been hired as Varsity Boys and Girls Cross-Country Coach and as Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. Coach Quint graduated from Hodgdon High School and went on to attend Eastern Nazarene College and the University of Maine at Presque Isle where she was a member of both the Women’s Basketball and Cross Country Teams earning All Conference First Team Honors in Cross Country. While at UMPI she also worked as a student assistant coach under Coach Tracy Guerrette, who is now the Director of Basketball Operations for the UMaine Women’s basketball team. Following graduation in 2012, Taylor coached the Hodgdon Jr. High Girls Team, served as a 7/8th grade Regional Coach for AYBL and worked again with Coach Guerrette as a coach at the University of Maine Women’s Summer Basketball Camps. She has also been actively involved as a Huddle Leader for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes program in Presque Isle during that period. Coach Quint resides in Hodgdon and attends Military Street Baptist Church. She currently is taking online exercise science classes through Concordia University with a graduate focus on coaching. We are very excited to have Taylor join the staff at GHCA and look forward to her work with our athletic programs!
