NEW SCHOLARSHIPS AT LEEDS ALERT! (get applying!) The University of Leeds 110 Anniversary Research Scholarships (UoLARS) are available to nationals from the UK and EU who are commencing postgraduate research degree study in any Faculty at the University. The Scholarships provide fees at the standard University home fee rate and a maintenance grant equivalent to standard RCUK rates. 55 scholarships are being funded by the central Postgraduate Scholarships Budget for commencement of study in 2014/15. Of the 55, 2 x Faculty (18 in total) are being allocated direct to the Faculties. The remaining 37 scholarships will be allocated by a selection panel meeting which will meet at the end of May. To receive a UoLARS scholarship Faculties have to match fund, thus bringing the total number on offer to 110. Deadline for Student Applications 30 April 2014.
