NEW SIGNING ! We have just signed Dennis Oli form Havant and Waterlooville on a two year deal. An experienced forward, manager Dean Brennan is delighted to have persuaded the player to sign and says he will give the team more options up front as he can play all along the front line. He was in negotiation for a new deal at Havant but decided to make the switch to the Tudors yesterday. From the Non League Daily, Oli was due to sign a new deal with Havent, however, the Hawks have just been contacted by the striker who has informed them that a rival Conference South side has made an improved offer of a two-year deal for him that he has chosen to accept. Oli signed for the Hawks just before the start of last season. He started out at Queens Park Rangers and made twenty-three appearances there over three seasons, also enjoying loan spells at Gravesend & Northfleet and Farnborough Town. One match for Swansea City followed in 2004, and four for Cambridge United, before a three season run at Grays Athletic from 2005 to 2008 saw him play one hundred and eleven games and score twenty-one goals. At Grays he not only helped the side gain promotion to the Conference Premier in 2005, but also played in no less than two FA Trophy finals, scoring in one of them. He followed manager Mark Stimson to Gillingham on loan in 2007, signing a contract in January 2008. A five-year spell followed that saw Oli make one hundred and twenty-seven league appearances, ending with a move to Wycombe Wanderers where he stayed for the 2012-13 season
