NEW YEAR.....NEW TEAM......NEW COMPETITION INTRODUCING......SHOWFEST UK A new competition for all dresssage, showing and jumping competitors culminating in a SPECTACULAR 3 day show over the August Bank Holiday at the prestigious Netley Hall equestrian centre. This year Netley has had a change of personnel and now each of the three disciplines, showing, dressage and show jumping have their own dedicated show managers whose sole aim is to provide the competitors with the BEST possible customer experience. Carolle Lee Jones is well known within the Showing community in the West Midlands and joins the team to take charge of the Showing side of things at Netley. Four shows are planned. Watch out for the schedules coming out soon but Carolle promises there will be something for everyone! Carla-Rae Tiffney is the new Dressage show manager. She will be bringing her experience in organising and running dressage shows to Netley. All dates will run and will be on the championship arena. Show schedules will be available soon! Colin Poole will take on the running of the Show Jumping and all dates will give the opportunity to qualify for the finals at the end of August. The finals themselves will have a mixture of pre-qualified classes and open classes that can be entered on the day and will have rugs sashes great rosettes and trophies for the winners. The facilities at Netley are some of the best in the area and the function suite which holds over 400 people will have a special party night on the Saturday of the 3 day show. Stabling will be available at only £20 for the first 50 stables booked, £50 therafter and £30 for a hook up. Pitch your tent at no charge at all or if you are quick book one of the luxurious self catering cottages that lie within an easy walk of the arenas. This is really going to be a great fun weekend for the whole family. Even those non-horsey people in the family will have the chance to go fishing in one of the 6 lakes on the estate, or try their hand at Paintball in probably the best paintball arena in the region, have a quick game of tennis or take part on the Friday night in the BBQ and rounders matches that are being planned.
