***NEW app of the day*** (2.99) My Little Pony: Power Ponies. Another wonderful animated, interactive story which will help children learn to read, build their vocabulary, and learn sight words. As the story is read to kids the text is highlighted so children will learn the correct direction of reading as well as learning to follow the story. This also helps with children recognising sight words. Included in the story are the highlighted vocabulary words, which when kids press on them the characters on the page either say or act something out that relates to that word. The characters on each page that can be interacted with show up with a white line around them to make it easy for kids to find the interactions on each page. This is a cool story where your kids get to join in with the Super Power Ponies. This is a wonderful story of friendship and helps to teach children that friendship is the best Super Power of all. I love how these stories have a hidden moral within them and this is great to read to children. At the end of the story is the sight words, in which children can tap on the word to learn it as well as the picture association, then swipe to the next sight word.
