NEWS: Could you adopt or foster a child or young person? Information stand in #Gloucester #Gloucestershire County Council will have an adoption and fostering information stand at #Hucclecote Library, Hucclecote Road, Gloucester, GL3 3RT on Wednesday 25th June, from 1pm to 5pm. People are invited to come along and have a chat about fostering and adoption, and can take away information. There will also be a foster carer on hand between 1-3pm, talking about their experience of fostering The county council accepts applications to foster or adopt from all sectors of society. All children are different and to meet their needs the county council is looking for a wide variety of people. However you must be over 21 and have a spare room in your home. The county council is particularly keen to hear from people looking to foster older children and teenagers, sibling groups and children with disabilities. There is also a need for adoptive parents for children of all ages, especially older children and sibling groups.
