NEWS: Here is a release from the Medicine Hat Police Service regarding an incident that occurred on Halloween. On October 31, 2014 between the hours of 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM parents were trick-or-treating with their children in the area of Rossdale SE. On November 1, 2014, the parent observed a razor blade from a utility scraper in the bag with all the candy. It is believed this blade came from the candy obtained from the Rossdale area. The parent did not notice anything suspicious at any house which raised any need for concern during their route. People are reminded to check their childrens candy to ensure safety. There has been only one complaint of this nature to police thus far. Anyone with any information about this incident is requested to call police at 403-529-8481 or Crimestoppers.
