There are no words to describe what happened tonight. I heard from heaven! I I followed Beth Spangler on The Voice this season and loved her instantly. So we attended her performance tonight at the Cornerstone church in Narrows. As soon as I walked in the door I heard my name from the front of the church. It was her Aunt Terri Francis Patteson and Cathi Francis Biggs motioning to me from the front. They said there was a song that Beth wanted to sing and they needed someone to play for her. As they told me the name of the song, my knees began to buckle. It was a song that my mom sang for many years and is her epitaph on her tombstone. It was sung at her funeral and most recently at my brother, Bob Lillys service as well. It has become a family tradition. As I told them the story behind it, my eyes teared up (and Cleves as well.) Then sometime during the service, Cleve mentioned that Bobby Lilly and Tia Maddy Lilly were present. That was unbelievable enough, but soon we realized that my husband was wearing my brother Bobs sweater! It was the first time he had ever worn it anywhere. What a message that mom & my dear brother are together with our Lord and Savior. My cup runneth over! In this video you can hear Cleves emotion as he watches and listens to this very touching moment that none of us will ever forget. Beth is the real deal, and this is proof that when Gods people pray and worship together, the ability to hear from heaven is limitless.
