NEWS / OIL / Obama- As it turns-out, President Obama may have had a STRONG hand in the lower oil prices after-all. Who knew? Holy Cannoli, did President Barack Obama just neutralize Putin in Russia, and Iran- and make friends with Cuba and deliver low gas prices just in time for Christmas shopping? Man, Obama- It appears so- and what a CHECK-MATE that is Mr. Multi-tasker. There is some serious speculation that Saudi Arabia (OPEC) went ahead with crashing the oil market at the request (wink-wink) of the White House. The goal, to pull the flying carpet out from under Russias Putin- and send the Rubel into free fall (now worth half then a week ago). Money that Putin was counting on in oil sales. And what does that do for the Saudis? Well, it slows-up fracking by making the costs of fracking hard to swallow when cheap oil is available, and the Saudis live to see another day. So a wink-wink between the White House kind of works well for Obama in his dealings with Putin and sanctions, and gives Iran some pause at the same time.
