NEWS RELEASE: BAD BUSINESS EXPOSURE OF DISHONEST BUSINESS AT LIFESTYLE TECHNOLOGY We Avery Seaton, Odeka O’Neil have been getting a RUN AROUND FROM THE OWNERS/WORKERS of LIFESTYLE TECHNOLOGY since we bought a Blu 5.0 phone for TT$900.00 AND DISCOVERED IT WAS MALFUNCTIONING the SAME EVENING OF PURCHASE. When we presented the phone to ‘SALES REP.’ JOSIAH HEADLY – who sold it to us – he EXAMINED THE PHONE and PROMISED NOT ONLY TO REPLACE THE PHONE BUT TO GIVE US AN UPGRADED ONE. In the weeks after many failed promises MR. JOSIAH HEADLY referred us to the “CUSTOMER SERVICE REP.” one MR HAYLEY ABRAHAM who has been TELLING US THEY ARE OUT OF STOCKS and advising us TO HAVE PATIENCE. We have since learnt that MR. ABRAHAM IS THE OWNER OF THE STORE. Today January 22ND 2015 - ONE MONTH LATER - OUR PATIENCE HAS RUN OUT since the owners/workers HAVE NOT KEPT THIER PROMISE to give us A NEW PHONE neither A REFUND. We have taken to social media today to expose this disingenuous business at Lifestyle Technology which has a couple of stores ONE in Tobago (Gulf City Mall) where we made our purchase. Below is the last email we sent to JOSIAH HEADLY: “Good evening Josiah, I am writing to update you on the status of our agreement regarding the Blu 5.0 phone you sold to me on Dec 20th 2014. As I have been communicating to you since the 21st Dec 2014 that it has been malfunctioning. It’s a few hours away from Wednesday 22nd 2015 - the date you agreed that you will replace the phone with a new upgraded unit or a refund of $900.00 (TT). Please be reminded that I have exercised the greatest patience with you despite your numerous promises and the huge inconvenience to my business and personally. I have recorded our conversations thus this far, so it can be place on record as verbal agreement. I hope that in good faith you will keep your commitment so I do not have to take any further actions.” TODAY WE MAKE THIS MOVE TO EXPOSE THIS EXPERIENCE SO THAT NO ONE ELSE IS VICTIMISED BY LIFESTYLE TECHNOLOGY.
