NEWS: The New Peoples Democratic Party said on Wednesday that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the All Progressives Congress. Its very interesting when nPDP says theyve joined APC. Really, has any one seen where a divorcee moves into a home of a married man and assumes the position of !st wife, of course, its alien in this part of our clime. Rather, what has happened is that APC has actually aquired a new wife and as such shall be known, regarded and treated as a second wife, even if you come with the entire state coffer, just like the divorcee would come with her entire gamut of kids, cooking skills(if any) and wahalas(alot of that), it still dosntt change the fact that you have just arrived to reap where one did not sow. I wonder how the old foxes in APC would sit back and watch these expired beings come in and usurp all their labours sweat of maintaining the APC structures through thick and thin of thetransformation and transmutation of the party structure. Dont forget, there is a pending court case on the acronym -APC. Time shall tell, I perceive a time bomb waiting to implode. Still siddon dey look(Sorry late Bola Ige). NEWS: The Federal Government on Thursday gave the Academic Staff Union of Universities, one week ultimatum to call off the ongoing strike.The acting Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike said those who refused to report to work after the one week ultimatum among the ASUU members would lose their jobs. What has really come over us in this country? So its become very difficult for us to discuss and trash issues without making into a public discuss or would I say ridicule. How would you meet your father for a deed that would uplift your welbeing, which he is willing and ready to do, does it then make sense that you would want the elders from your village to witness the agreement between father and son? Well they say different strokes for different folks. I feel for the students and mostly the old folks who are groaning under the pressure of distorted academic calender. May God help us all. Come to think of it, that could be one of the ways the FG is going to create jobs, just kidding.
