NEWS UPDATE 4GC DEMANDS MUGUMYAS RELEASE Members of the outlawed opposition pressure group - For God and My Country - are demanding the immediate release of Sam Mugumya, the former aide of FDC leader, Dr. Kizza Besigye. The members, led by Masaka Municipality MP, Mathias Mpuuga say they have scheduled a meeting with officials of the DRC Embassy in Kampala to try and ascertain Mugumyaʼs whereabouts. The UPDF spokesperson was quoted two weeks ago saying that Mugumya was arrested by Congolese troops in the DRC for trying to launch a rebellion in Uganda.
