The Government chief whip Justine Kasule Lumumba says her office is still waiting for a written response from the former prime minister also NRM secretary general Amama Mbabazi on the issues that were raised in the Sseninde report. In the report, it was disclosed that the irregularities in the 2010 NRM party primaries were spearheaded by Amama Mbabazi on account of personal motives. Award-winning Zimbabwean writer Chenjerai Hove has called on Grace Mugabe, the wife of Zimbabwes leader Robert Mugabe, to hand back her PhD. She was awarded a doctorate from the University of Zimbabwe last month. But there has been confusion over when she enrolled, with some sources saying it was only two months ago - and students want the issue investigated. The university authorities have not yet commented on the controversy. Mr Hove says the award removes the integrity of Zimbabwe’s academic standing the world over.
