NEXT TWO SATURDAY PADDLES- AUGUST 2 - SILVER RIVER 1000am we will probably go one way down river after a shuttle (5 miles)- maybe they will have a shuttle by then. i can run three drivers back- first enter the main spring park (entrance fee- i have a park pass) PLUS $4.00 launch fee. drop everything off then drive down to rays wayside park drop car/ trailer off- $5.00 fee. then get shuttled back to headspring for launch. this is the fort king paddling trail which follows the original jungle tour rides from the 20s. until you hit the river. park will eventually tear down many of the old structures. lots of gators, wild monkeys,birds, and turtles. easy to moderate paddle. not cso sponsored. open to everyone. AUGUST 9- LAKE DISSTON aka CYPRESS HWY 1000am- i have had several people ask about this so we are going again! this is the day after the CSO full moon kayak in theater night- easy paddle north under a mile then paddle back- paddle through the trees in the pads or in the grass or outside - slow and easy- east of seville in southwest flagler county. not cso sponsored and everyone is welcome- 3 bananas after!
