NICA’S PERSEVERE In a Bacolod city there’s a girl named nica she lived in a slum area.nica’ s family is poor because his father is a construction worker only and her mother his a housewife only. Nica has a two brother’s named is paul and jerry. Paul is a grade 5 and jerry is a grade 3 while nica is a 3rd year high school in a private school. She is in a private school because when she is in a elementary she is a valecditorian and the school gave her a scholarship and nica maintain this relationship. Nica and her family they go to park and play. Nica has a attitude of being concerned and she is industrious,helpful, and respectful. When nicawas arrived in the house from school, she kissed hewr mother in the forehead and also in his father. Nica is preparing to go to school she noticed that her mother look sick and weak. And nica said to her mother with a concerned voice, Ma! Are you OK; Yes! Nica I’m ok “, mother response. Are you sure?, nica said. YES, don’t mind me, just prepare the things that you need to school,’’ motjer response in a slowly voice that feel tired. OK, bye MA ,! Nica said and whenm she kissed her mother in the forehead. When nica go to school she walked it until she reahed in school that’s why she woke up early in the morning. After the class, nica also walked it. Later by later, nica arrived in nthe house she see her mother washing the dishes and she said to her mother , MA! Just leave that, im the who finish that , just take a rest.’’ And theh her mother seat on the sofa while nica was washing the dishes. After nica washing the dishes she arrange nthe plates and glasses and there proper place and then when she turn her head back she saw her mother lying on the floor. Nica shouted with tears in her eyes, MA! MA! WAKE UP HELP! HELP! . . . . ‘’ nica what happened,” the one neighborhood said. You call first ambulance,” nica said ! and then later by later the ambulance came. And then they arrived in hospital. Aling nena was sent in emergency room and nica and his two brother;s has crying. And then in a few min. mang Ricardo arrived and then hug her children. And then he said to nica ,” what happen “, PA, this what happen, whi8le im washing the dishes and after I wash the plate. When i8m going to file the plates and the glass in the proper place and then I saw mama lying on the floor,” nica’s explain with teras in her eyes. Then they seats on the chair waiting for the doctor. Then, later by later the doctor came out with the sad face. Mang Ricardo ask the doctor, “ DOC,! What is the condition of my wife,! The DOCTOR! Replied, “ mister Salvador I try all my best, but im apologized to tell you your wife, hes dead on the arrival. Because , of the cardiac arrest. The hospital was full of emotion of family Salvador. Then the problem of mang Ricardo where to get the money to buy a coffins and the money to pay the funerals. And then, he go to the office where he is working to barrowed the money of her boss, and then he arrived, he said to her boss,” sr. can I barrowed a money, and then I work for you until I pay it ! . the head response,” OK!. Then mang Ricardo bring a 20,000 pesos and hes down the 15,000 pesos in the funeral. The remain of aling nena was there in the house. And Many people was there of mang Ricardo house. Early morning mang Ricardo,nica and her two brothers was preparing to last of the day of hes mother . many people has concern of the family of mang Ricardo, the family Salvador was emotionally. And after aling nenas borial the family was so sad. The next morning the family Salvador early wake up, nica who there one to cook food while the two boys was bathing and Ricardo early go to his work. Nica is the one who just act like her mother. Nica his a bread winner of his family Nica graduated in high school a valecditorian. On the summer vacation, nica was working so that she can help her father to pay the dept and then saved a money in order to be used to pay the enrollment in college. After the summer, nica was enroll in college. Nica don’t get scholarship because the school is full of students that have a scholarship. So, she decided to work while studying. Her course is education major in science. In the morning she is the one who cook food. And after that she go to her work. She work min a fastfood restaurant. She is the one who washes the paltes and then in 1:00 is time that she go to school. Nica said to herself ,” MA! you are my inspiration, I do my best to succed and reach my dreams. Nica do this everyday eventhough she is tired she continue working and studying in order to success and stay away from proverty that was the dream of nica. Until 2 years later, nicas tired and perspire was not waste she graduated in a teachers course. And the dept of mang Ricardo was paid . they celebrated the graduation happy the end Moral lesson: the poverty is not an obstacle order to succed.
