NICHO NTEMA TODAY... Like this narrow mindedness that all South Africans are Christians, now we see a Zulu Professor whom because he was born Zulu, wrote Speeches for a Zulu Monarch, hails from Kwa Zulu Natal and held a talk at a Kwazulu Natal University, thinks that all South Africans are Zulus, maybe because our President is Zulu and the majority of his cabinet and ministers are Zulus. YOU ARE WRONG PROF... All South African indigenous languages should be made compulsory within all spheres of education in all institutions throughout the land in an equitable manner, so that we preserve all our languages and promote diversity that we dream about and also constitutional rights of all South Africans. English and Afrikaans remain the dominating languages, with their attached norms, values, cultures and standards, that are purely not African and thus detrimental to African development and evolution. Adding Zulu in a draconian manner like this stupid and peanut-sized brain thought by this Zulu Professor, amounts to the same type of repression by one group over others. I was born Xhosa and raised by a Sesotho family within its language, values and norms. I surely will not subject my children to a compulsory Zulu tuition that aims to create a large Zulu nation like what Afrikaners and the English envisaged over others. This is unconsititutional and an insult to Basotho, Bapedi, Vhavenda, Batswana, MaColoured, the Afrikaners, The English, The Chinese, Indians, Matebele, the Tsongas, Amaswati, Amaxhosa and all other people who love their languages as much as Zulus love their own. This Otty Nxumalo guy is hallucinating and smoked too much of his socks. timeslive.co.za/thetimes/2014/11/26/make-zulu-compulsory-at-all-varsities
