NIGHGHTCRAWLER: A Beautifully Haunting Triumph of a universal rags to riches story. Cinema purists hate using landmarks in film scenes, but this films usage fit the story line of a how the news media works in the world headquarters of entertainment Los Angeles. Extremely entertaining story of the underdog outsider scraping and clawing his way into the insular and politically toxic world of television news organizations. As an underling hes a fast learner, a young guy trying to find his way in life, educating himself by researching the internet. His vocabulary is very well developed and he takes to working as a freelance cameraman seriously. Quickly leveraging his graphic crime scene videos to build his media empire. Its great to see a guy outwitting the seasoned, jaded news journalists and the police at their own game. But the ending was a let down, it ended too soon.
