NO TO THE BAN ON KPONMO! I heard over the radio that the minister of agric is dreaming of banning of consumption of kponmo. You see, oga minister, I quite like you. I like your suave looks, I like your bowtie, I like your clipped Janded accent and best of all, I like what youre doing in the agric sector especially rice production where youve shown that Nigeria can actually feed herself if visionaries like you drive the policies. But oga, in this kponmo matter, biko, I totally disagree with you! No put eye dia at all at all! Leave us with our kponmo, biko! How can anyone ban such a chewy delicacy even if its nutritional value is zero? Imagine the springy, tasty conclusion of sinking your teeth into a huge folded piece of kponmo and savouring the slightly smoky bland taste... Just the sight of it in your plate, along with its kindred cousins in the orishirishi family like shaki, roundabout and towel just makes you salivate. Oga minister, dont worry about leather, de one wey we chop remain can go into shoe production, inugo? Just let us eat first. What you can help us do is to arrest those who use dangerous chemicals to preserve our kponmo. Arrest them and charge them for genocide...theyre an enemy to the kponmo-enjoying humanity!
