NOA reiterates commitment to rebrand Kwara ilorin.info/fullnews.php?id=8447 The Kwara State Director, National Orientation Agency, Ilorin, Mr. Felix Olowokere, has disclosed that the agency has over thirteen programmes which, according to him, are capable of re-branding Kwara State. The director, who disclosed this while speaking with Royal Times correspondent, explained that some of the programmes include orientation of Kwarans on the importance of National Dialogue, and to ensure that Kwarans are carried along in order to participate fully. Other programmes include catch the youths young, cultism eradication campaigns, prostitution abolition, examination malpractice campaign. He noted that the agency is also planning to visit all schools in the state for accurate orientation and to introduce what the agency tagged Flag Conner. According to Olowokere, the flag Conner is where the best students not only in academic but also in term of moral, attitude would be seated in front of the flag in which awards would be presented to the students, which is part of the agency efforts to catch the youths young. He said the agency would also put everything in place to ensure that Kwarans are highly informed about the state government activities in order to calm tension, noting that information is the key to ensure security, and that youths must be informed about government plans for them. While commending the state government, the KWASIEC , the security agencies and other stakeholders for the peaceful atmosphere experienced in the just concluded local government election, he called on Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed to continue partnering and supporting the agency.
