Pura Vida Day Spa is honored to help support Ethiopia’s school building project. Our fundraiser event will run all of July and August and will help build a school and change the future of hundreds of children. Children living in the Tembaro Region in Ethiopia do not have the opportunity to start school at an early age. For older children attending school, most classrooms are temporary structures subject to the rain and hindered by huge resourcing needs. Classrooms often have a few textbooks to share between fifty to one hundred students. If school libraries exist, they only have a small collection of outdated books gathered without the age or ability of readers in mind. Knowing these facts, how could we not partner with families in Ethiopia and build a school? Education changes lives. Building a school in Ethiopia will change the future of hundreds of children.
