NONE OF THESE DISEASES. I dont really have much to say concerning the Ebola news that has gone rampage. Its sad that lots of Christians are moved by it. Its not about Ebola, its about insecurity. Whether its terrorism or it comes inform of sickness, it makes no difference, the point here is what do you really believe? Who are you? And to whom do you belong? Your answers to these questions determines whether or not youll be a victim sooner or later. You may survive boko Haram and Ebola, but there is still more to come. In old testament God said ...If thou wilt DILIGENTLY HEARKEN TO THE VOICE of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt GIVE EAR TO HIS COMMANDMENTS, and keep all his statutes, I WILL PUT NONE OF THESE DISEASES UPON THEE, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26 ). Even the Israelis knew they couldnt be afflicted or infected with the diseases and sicknesses in the land of Egypt. This was their consciousness, it didnt matter to them how grave the disease was, they didnt give it a thought, it wasnt their business. They were in Egypt, but they were not of Egypt nor Egyptians. The sicknesses and diseases wasnt for everybody. You have to be an Egyptian to be sick and diseased. Its the same story today. The question is who are you? To whom do you belong? And what do you believe? The bible says For, behold, THE DARKNESS SHALL COVER THE EARTH , and GROSS DARKNESS THE PEOPLE: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee (Isaiah 60:2). God, always in the scriptures, distinguishes us from the rest of the world. He tells us about the people of world, then for us He said ...THE LORD SHALL ARISE UPON THEE, AND HIS GLORY(not Ebola) SHALL BE SEEN UPON THEE. The Master said Ye are the SALT of the earth... (Matthew 5:13). I have never seen or heard any where in the world where you have to rub salt on salt to preserve salt. What do they mean to bath with salt or drink salt. For me I am the salt of the earth, I am with Jesus on this, I belong to Him, I am in Him, He lives in me. Listen, this is the best time to preach the gospel, preach Jesus everywhere. In your school, street, office, shop, and inside vehicles. He is the only cure to insecurity. And this will bring about the fulfillment of Isaiah 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Because Ye are the light of the world... (Matthew 5:14). This situation and many others to come will only help God know those who are truly His people. These will separate religious Christians from the true Christians. Praise God!
