NOT FEELING WELL TONIGHT. RAE JEAN WENT TO GET ME SOME SOUP. THE HEAVENS ARE SPEAKING With that in mind, I offer a prophetic word for our day, believing we are about to see a great move of God. How do I know? Let us read Gods Word. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth...The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. (Joel 2:30-31) And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved...there will be deliverance.... (Joel 2:32) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:12-13) Modern Christians have sparse New Testament instruction to guide our intercession. What we do have, however, is clear and without equivocation. First, we must submit to human government, for there is no authority except from God (Romans 13:1). Disobedience is permissible only when one must choose between obeying Gods Word or mans laws (Acts 4:18-20). Second, we are to intercede and give thanks for all who are in authority (1 Tim. 2:1-4). On the basis of Gods sovereignty then, we pray for President Obama and all who govern. They are accountable to Almighty God, as are we all. Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Tim 2:1-4) Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.(Romans 13:1-2) We are living in troubling times in our World. We need peace, love and joy. We need Gods HOLY SPIRT to help us pray. Just like Jesus, we need to listen to the FATHER and ask What should for you Lord? Also we need to pray for other believers, many are being persecute around the world. We are to pray for other believers to come to KNOW HIM AND MAKE HIM KNOWN. PLEASE PRAY.
