NOT GUILTY by reason of INSANITY: You will know SST has a firm view regarding this. Not Guilty is an acquittal with no conviction being entered on the offenders record (whether they are sick or not). We are promoting a change to Proven but Insane or Proven but mentally ill so the victims at least hear acknowledgement of who killed or hurt their loved one and a conviction is then on the persons criminal record.
