NOT MY FAV BUT STILL BRILLIANT: Ok, this is the last posting for my 31 horror films in 31 days. Alot of my fellow horror fanatics will not agree w/ this one. For some reason, this is the universal answer people give, who are not really into horror films, as their all time fav. None-the-less, does that make this film any less important? Do I have to go deep into my catalogue of B films, Asian films or just obscure films to be considered a real horror fan? I think not. Billy Friedkin is as good a director as the film industry will ever know! Ellen Burstyn, Max von Sydow & Linda Blair....wow! For any of you that grew up around Catholicism, well, if it didnt scare you, youre lying. Its not in my Top 10 but def in my Top 20. The directors cut is the way to go on this one. Ok, nuff said. You guys know ALL this. I will say this though, I did my 31 films in 31 days for myself, but was glad some of you came along for the ride. If you come up to me in a bar and say, JD, I followed youre 31 films on the Zombex page then your next drinks on me!
