NOT by TRICK. Please if you know any of those innocent Nigerians especially Igbos living in Lagos and some Northern part of the country that the Labour Party candidate Dr Ifeanyi Ubah mobilized to come and register in Anambra state to enable them vote or work for him in the Nov 16 guber election, Please tell such person that he will be committed to prison if he has registered before in the place where he lives in 2011. This exercise amounts to double registration and contravenes the provisions of the electoral act and INEC regulation. Most of these Igbos I learnt were given free transport and 3000naira cash to come and register in Anambra state. Most of them have valid voters card, obtained during the 2011 voter registration. It is illegal to obtain more than 1 voters card. Anyone one who has registered in his place of residence outside Anambra state can only legally vote in the Nov 16 if writes to INEC requesting that he has relocated to Anambra state and wishes to vote in the state via his ward. About 20 luxurious buses left Lagos under heavy security to Anambra state last weekend. Over 80% of these Igbos have valid voters card registered in Lagos state. Half of them took this risk because they were promised 50,000naira on Nov 16 if they can register now and vote for Ifeanyi Ubah on Nov 16. These unsuspecting Igbos mainly traders do not know the legal implication of double registration, if INEC decides to prosecute them after the election. It is important we inform our kits and kin who may be involved in this act to desist. This Nov election wont be won by illegal entrants from other states. It will be won by the decision of greater majority of Ndi Anambra. it will be won by verifiable facts and prevailing issues presently on ground in Anambra state as represented by APGA. ANYI AGABA.
