NOTICE TO MARINERS Firing Practice at Pembroke Ranges The Ports and Yachting Directorate, Transport Malta notifies that further to notice to mariners No 3 of 2013, the Armed Forces of Malta will carry out Live Firing Practice at the Pembroke Ranges, between 0700 and 1830 hours local time between Monday 10th March, 2014 and Friday, 14th March, 2014. During the Live Firing Practice Red Flags (approximate size 2.5m x 2m) will be flown from the shore limits. Mariners are warned to keep as a minimum 4 Nautical miles off the coast when the flags are sighted. Mariners are to note that the extended exercise timings will apply only for the above mentioned week, moreover, they must obey instructions Valletta Port Control (VTS) Charts affected: BA 2538, 2537, 194.
