We were literally blown away by the amazing 81 finishers that found their way though our flapping finishing funnel. Well done to you all. Put your hands together please for our brave band of marshals who were - RD Paul Humphreys, Timer Jackie Humphreys, Tokens Juliette Baxter, Scanning Paul Marlow. Keeping a damp but watchful eye on you all were Jane McKenna, Kirsty Faust, Kevin Watt, Tamara Pateman, Alan Mutch, Kate Robey, Ade Gardiner, Ruby Gardiner, Emily James and the volunteer co-ordinator bringing them altogether was Rachel Cator. Ive never seen a volunteer team tuck away so much pre & post run coffee before. Thank you to the team of the West Glebe Pavilion who are there week after week to keep our volunteers and runners plied with the good stuff :) Mad n muddy is probably the best way to describe you all but it was great to see so many ignoring the call of the quilt and putting in a hard 5k to start their weekend. Good too to see so many first timers and we hope you make it back for more of the same. Congratulations to Stewart Docherty who hit his 50th parkrun today and joins the every growing club Corby runners to reach this milestone, well done Stewart. The gents first finishers were hard faught today and only a matter of seconds between them. Great to see Adam Eales returning to form after a long break. For the ladies we welcomed Chloe Hearne over the line in a time of 23:39 and for the Gents, Wojciech Kantczak in a time of 20:33 - big round of applause you two, very well done. The results have been uploaded and are available here - parkrun.org.uk/corby/results/latestresults/ Enjoy the rest of your weekend, well upload some photos shortly. Andy & the Team.
