Caregivers, patients, family members, and anyone concerned about present or future care of a loved one are encouraged to attend. Local experts on Hospice and Palliative care will share advances and innovations in patient-focused, family-centered medical care: Lonnie Laughlin M.D., Fellow American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, HSHS Medical Group; Jerome Epplin M.D., Fellow of American Academy of Family Physicians, Fellow American Geriatrics Society, Certificate of Added Qualification Geriatrics, AGS, Litchfield Family Practice Center; Phil Johnson M.D., Fellow of American Academy of Family Physicians, Certificate of Added Qualification American Association of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Litchfield Family Practice Center. Representatives from facilities and agencies serving Hospice and Palliative needs will also be presenting valuable material. There will be no charge for this program.
